Tech Tips 

We recommend to reduce the RPM of the motor slightly. Without reduction you will shoot about 50 RPS. You can easily adjust the rpm via the adjustment screw on the rear of our end-bell. Upgrading your bushings / bearings are also important. For precise shimming consider our low profile CNC 8mm Bushings. We bond our bearings / bushings to our gearbox shells. 

If upgrading a G&G replica you may have issues with motor height adjustment when shimming your gearbox. G&G on the baseplate of their motor grip, they have metal dividing tabs that raise too high and raise aftermarket motors above the motor height adjustment screw. You have 2 solutions: dremel and modify the baseplate, it takes like 30 seconds with a dremel or use a new grip such as PTS grips any PTS Enhanced Polymer Grip. 

If you are building in an M4 platform, we recommend using a PTS grip for proper motor alignment and tolerances.  

Having a proper nozzle and high quality bucking are also crucial components to compression. For after market hop chambers such as Maxx, Retro, & Gate, use our Optimized 21mm POM nozzle. Maple leaf / 4UAD buckings are recommended.
